Privacy Policy
The short version: the documents you merge are never stored, reviewed, or shared. We may collect a limited amount of other data — analytics and cookies that show how the site is used, standard log data such as IP addresses, and your name and email if you contact us. The documents themselves are never part of any of it.

Who we are
MergePDFPro is operated by Zonepdf Inc. (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@mergepdfpro.com.
Information we may collect
The documents you merge are not collected: we do not store, retain, review, or share them, their contents, their file names, or the merged result, and no copy exists for us to hold or recover. Apart from your documents, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Usage and analytics data: which pages are visited, the referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type, collected through Google Analytics.
- Cookies and browser storage: the Google Analytics cookies described below, and local storage or similar browser technologies we may use to remember preferences or support site features.
- Log and connection data: your IP address, browser user-agent, and request times, recorded by our hosting provider when pages are served.
- Contact information: your name, email address, and the contents of your message when you write to us.
We use this information to operate and improve the site and to respond when you get in touch.
Cookies
The cookies this site sets are those used by Google Analytics (names beginning with _ga). They contain a random identifier used to tell repeat visits apart, are kept for up to two years, and are not used to show you advertising.
Analytics and third-party services
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, what device and browser they use, and how they found the site. This data is collected and processed by Google LLC and handled under Google's privacy policy. It never includes the documents you merge or anything about their contents.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking the googletagmanager.com domain with any content blocker — the site works exactly the same without it.
Beyond Google Analytics, we run no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no A/B testing, and all other code the page loads is served from our own domain.
Legal basis and your rights
We do not operate accounts and do not collect personal information beyond the categories described above, so there is in practice no user profile for us to hold, sell, or share. We do not sell personal information.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data relating to you, and to object to its processing. If you believe we hold data about you and wish to exercise those rights, write to hello@mergepdfpro.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. Note that server logs are generally identifiable only by IP address, so we may need additional information to locate any records relating to you.
Children
This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site works in a way that affects this policy — for example by adding analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
